President Prabowo Subianto recently attended the 79th Bhayangkara Day commemoration ceremony before departing for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta. He was dressed in a brown safari suit and black peci, arriving at the airbase around 3:15 PM Western Indonesia Time, where high-ranking officials bid him farewell for his official state visit. Accompanying him were Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Foreign Minister Sugiono, and other key figures from both Indonesia and Saudi Arabia.
Before boarding the presidential aircraft at 3:30 PM, President Prabowo took the opportunity to watch military cadets rehearsing a marching band performance at the airbase with Defense Minister Sjafrie. The primary objective of his visit to Saudi Arabia is to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries, with a focus on the organization of the Hajj pilgrimage and exploring potential strategic partnerships. The visit is aimed at further enhancing the relationship between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia, fostering mutual understanding, and promoting collaboration for the benefit of both nations.
