BRI’s commitment to expanding financial inclusion is evident through the AgenBRILink initiative. This initiative not only opens up economic opportunities for the community but also brings accessible banking services to grassroots levels. In Klambu District, Grobogan Regency, Central Java, M. Aris Yuliyanto, the owner of “SDM Mart,” is a prime example of how partnering as an AgenBRILink can drive business development and benefit the surrounding community.

Aris emphasized the convenience and accessibility of AgenBRILink services, which are sought after by the community due to their easy access and non-office hours. As a result, many customers visit their locations, leading to significant growth in business. Starting as a small shop selling pulses and vouchers in 2015, Aris’s business has rapidly expanded to three AgenBRILink branches in Klambu District, providing job opportunities for eight local residents.

Aris’s journey began with a dream of owning his own minimarket, supported by work experience and funding from BRI. The pivotal moment came when he was offered to become an AgenBRILink, significantly impacting his business. This partnership resulted in increased foot traffic and operations support from BRI, benefiting both the business and the community.

In addition to business growth, Aris, as the Chair of BRILinkers Purwodadi, plays a significant role in facilitating financial services and introducing various BRI programs to farmers. He educates farmers on safe financial transactions for purchasing agricultural supplies and selling their harvests.

BRI’s Corporate Secretary, Agustya Hendy Bernadi, commended Aris’s story as a testament to AgenBRILink’s role in reaching diverse communities nationwide. AgenBRILink has become a vital driver in expanding BRI’s financial services to the grassroots through real-time online transactions with a fee-sharing concept.

AgenBRILink’s performance has been solid, with 443 million transactions recorded from January to May 2025, supported by 1.19 million agents across 67,013 villages nationwide. This initiative has made significant strides in enhancing financial inclusion and accessibility for all.
