Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo recently visited SMK Negeri 26 Jakarta in Rawamangun, East Jakarta to oversee the implementation of the Free Health Check in Schools (CKG Sekolah) program. This initiative, part of a nationwide launch in 12 schools, madrasahs, and pesantrens across Indonesia, reflects President Prabowo Subianto’s commitment to the health of young Indonesians. Minister Dito emphasized the importance of promoting healthy lifestyles among students and the need for early detection of health issues. The CKG program includes health screenings for students, covering various aspects such as physical fitness, dental and eye health, and mental well-being.
Accompanying the minister on the visit were officials from the Ministry of Health and the Presidential Communication Office, as well as prominent athletes. The initiative aims to examine a total of 1,600 students at SMKN 26 Jakarta over the course of three to four days. Educational sessions on clean and healthy living habits were also provided to participating students.
The CKG Sekolah program is a fundamental component of President Prabowo’s vision for a reformed national healthcare system, with a focus on preventive care. Launched on February 10, 2025, the program has already benefited more than 16 million people across Indonesia. By expanding its reach to various educational institutions, the government aims to ensure equal access to healthcare services and ultimately contribute to the realization of Golden Indonesia 2045.
