Daniil Kvyat has marked his debut in the Super GT series by finishing sixth in the GT300 class during the season opener at the Okayama International Circuit. The former Formula 1 driver teamed up with Takashi Kogure in the #88 JLOC Lamborghini Huracan GT3, showcasing his skills in his first race in Japan and first-ever GT3 car race. Despite entering the new series with limited experience, Kvyat exceeded expectations by delivering a strong performance. Qualifying 14th in Q2, he showcased his racing prowess by climbing to seventh and eventually securing sixth place by implementing a strategic move.
